The dashboard home page is designed as your daily driver — open it in the morning, see what matters, take action.
New-band checklist (top, until done)
A brand-new band sees a four-step "get live" checklist above everything else. Step 1, "Give BandBrain your tour", offers three equal paths: connect Master Tour, connect Google (Sheets/Drive), or forward day sheets and emails to the band's inbox address (with a copy button). Any one counts. See The first five minutes. It disappears once all steps are done.

Ask BandBrain (top)
Single-line input + ASK button. Type a question, get an answer in the bubble below. Same agent as SMS — full access to your tour data.
Replaces persistent chat history with a single most-recent exchange. For multi-turn conversation, use SMS.
Comms (top-left)
Compact composer for one-off broadcasts. Pick audience (Everyone / Band & crew / Specific people), write a message, hit Preview + Send. SMS only on this card; for email use the full composer link at the bottom.
Top-right corner of the card has a link: + Create automation → routes to the automations create form for recurring sends.
Roster (top-right)
Counts at a glance: Management & admins / Artist, band & crew / External contacts / Pending dashboard invites (when nonzero).
Big + Add Member button at the bottom → routes to the full roster page.
Today (bottom-left)
The same TodayPanel that's been there since the early dashboard. Shows today's daysheet — venue, hotel, schedule, hospitality.
Channels (bottom-right)
Top section: your band's BandBrain inbox alias (<yourband>@bandbrain.ai) — prominent because it's both a channel AND your "phone number" for inbound forwards.
Below: SMS / Email / WhatsApp (coming) with ON/OFF status pills, current detail (number, alias, etc.), and last-inbound timestamp.
Manage channels → link at the bottom routes to the Channels page.
What's NOT on the home page
These moved out during the redesign:
- Conversations Inbox → its own page at /dashboard/inbox
- Inbox card (the old big email-alias section) → folded into Channels quadrant
The 4 quadrants are intentionally what matters most. Everything else is one click away via the nav.
