The agent can read and edit your tour's guest list per show day. The data lives in day_facts under guestlist:* fields, and the agent writes changes back to your source sheet (for Google Sheets) automatically.
Adding a guest
Say it naturally:
- "Add John Smith plus one to tonight's list"
- "Add Sarah Jones +3 to Seattle"
- "Put Matt down (press pass) for the Wiltern show"
- "Add Emanuel Natera +1 tonight"
The agent parses:
- Name — just the person's name (no plus-ones, no pass type)
- plus_ones — count of additional spots ("+3" = 3 extras = 4 total)
- pass_type — general / aa (all-access) / press / photo. Default is general.
After the add — confirmation + full list
After every add, the agent reads back the FULL updated guest list so you can verify:
Added Emanuel Natera +1 tonight.
Tonight's list — 4 people total:
- John Smith
- Sarah Jones +1
- Emanuel Natera +1
Anything else?
You see:
- What was just added (with name + plus-ones + pass type)
- The complete current list — so you can spot typos or duplicates
- "X people total" (clear count, not ambiguous "X spots")
Listing the current state
- "Who's on tonight's list?"
- "Show me the Seattle guest list"
- "How many spots are used for the Wiltern?"
Same format — list per name, count at the top.
Removing a guest
- "Take Matt off the Friday list"
- "Remove Sarah Jones from tonight"
The agent calls list_guests first to find Matt's id, then removes. Confirmation includes the updated list.
Source sheet write-back
If your itinerary is a Google Sheet with a guest list tab, the agent writes the add/remove back to the right row/column automatically. Open the sheet later and the new state is there.
If your itinerary is in Dropbox, the agent updates day_facts only — the source Excel file isn't auto-updated. Manually mirror to the file when you can.
Allotment
If your sheet has a stated guest-list allotment (e.g. "20 spots"), the agent picks it up and tells you remaining slots: "Total: 14 of 20 spots used."
If no allotment is known, just "Total: 14 spots".
Permissions
Guest-list edits require Full Access or being on a relevant role (tour_manager, manager, production_crew typically). Other roles get a refusal: "Guest list edits are admin-only."
