USE BANDBRAIN IN YOUR AI ASSISTANT

Connect ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant to BandBrain and ask about your tour from there.

Bring your whole business into the most powerful AI models in the world, with BandBrain as the source of truth. Connect BandBrain to your AI assistant — ChatGPT, Claude, or any assistant that supports connectors — and it can build tour P&Ls, merch reports by show and size, store-vs-merch-table comparisons, and $/head across a run, pulling Master Tour, merch, your web store, Stripe, bank transactions, contracts, contacts, and emails together in one conversation. Or just ask about the tour — "what's load-in tomorrow?", "who's on the list tonight?", "how'd merch do last night?" — and it answers from your band's real data.

Connecting

  1. On /dashboard/connectors, copy the link in Use BandBrain in your AI assistant
  2. In your AI app's settings, find Connectors and add a custom connector. Name it BandBrain and paste the link
  3. Connect and sign in with your BandBrain account

That's it. Each person connects their own assistant — it signs in as you, so it only sees what you can see. Some apps call connectors something slightly different, or keep them behind an advanced or developer setting; the link and sign-in are the same everywhere.

If you're in more than one band

One connection covers every band you belong to. Just say which one: "What's the Northern Lights' schedule Friday?" or "our other band's hotel tonight?" If it's not clear, the assistant asks.

What it can do

Only band admins and people with Full Access can connect an AI assistant. Anyone else who tries is told to text or email BandBrain instead. Once connected, it answers the same things as texting BandBrain, with the same permissions. It can also search your band's documents directly and list what's connected.

Pulling big sets of data

Your assistant can pull raw data from BandBrain, not just answers — so you can say "pull all of our merch table sales for the fall tour and make me a sales-by-size chart" or "export every show day in November with venues, capacities, and contacts."

What it can pull:

  • Every tour day in a range — venue, city, schedule, hotel, contacts, production and facilities, notes (deal terms for admins)
  • Merch table sales (Square) — every order with items, sizes, tips, refunds
  • Online store (Squarespace or Shopify) — every order, and units/revenue by product or size
  • Stripe charges — every charge plus totals
  • Bank transactions — every transaction across linked accounts, plus balances (Full Access only)
  • Contacts — the band's whole directory
  • Guest lists — any show, live from Master Tour
  • Sheets and docs — full tabs (up to 500 rows each) and full document text

Money, contacts, and guest lists are admin-only (Full Access).

Apps that ask for a key

A few apps ask for a key instead of a sign-in — make one in Advanced — use a key instead on the same card. Keys are tied to one band.

Disconnecting

Remove BandBrain from your AI app's connector settings. Keys can be deleted from the card anytime.

Signed in? Ask the help assistant in your dashboard.
